BYRD TO BE RELIEVED INJURY TO AN ARM (Received July 22, 5.5 p.m.) NtfW YORK, July 21 A message from the Byrd Antarctic expedition at Little America says:— "Weather permitting, a tractor with a crew of five will proceed to Bolinp; advance base to-morrow to relieve RearAdmiral Byrd after his four months' isolation. "Two meteor observers, Carl Peterson, a veteran Antarctic explorer, and Bernard Fleming, a New Zcalander, will occupy the shack until October. "Roar-Admiral Byrd will return with the tractor. He is reported to be suffering .from an injured arm, but he has not indicated whether the injury ts serious."
