TEN NON-STOP ROUNDS LAME PLAYER'S 45 MILES LONDON, June 17 The Daily Mail says that Captain R. Norman, an 18-handicap golfer, who is lame as the result of a war wound, won a remarkable wager by playing 10 non-stop rounds at the Stoke Poges course under a thousand strokes. He actually took 960 strokes, his best round being 89 and his worst 107. His 10 rounds occupied 16£ hours, and he walked 45 miles. Par for the course is 75.
