IDLE AND DISORDERLY
"Accused's nephew says he will look after the man if a prohibition order is made out against him," said Sub-In-speetor Edwards in the Police Court yesterday when an Indian hawker, Girthon Gulab, aged 66, was convicted of being an idle and disorderly person without lawful means of support. It was stated that accused had been frequenting hotels and begging drinks. He was ordered to -come up for sentence when called on within six months, and a prohibition order was mado out against him. An address on the Ottawa agreement and practical prosperity proposals will be given by Air. Albert Russell in the Town Hall on Thursday night.
