BOATING CLUB AFTERNOON

The monthly social afternoon of tho Daytime Social branch of the Takapuna Boating Club was held at the clubhouse at Bayswatcr yesterday, the hostesses being ]\lrs. J. Pirrit, Mrs. J. Tyree and Airs. Tyrec, senr. Songs were sung by Miss Chrissie Foster and competitions won by Mrs. H. Hancock and Miss .Jov Verrnn. Among those present were: Mrs. W. Verran, Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. J. Sehnltz, Mrs. S. Anderson, Mrs. V. Broughton, Mrs. C. Robinson, Mrs. Worth, Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. H. Fogarty, Mrs. Hancock, ]\frs. Hawke, Mrs. Aplin, Mrs. McDougall, Miss Bcvan, Miss Foster, Miss J. Verran.
