BAY OF PLENTY [l-'ROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] TE PUKE, Tuesday The fifth annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty School Committees' Association was held at To Puke, there being a good attendance of delegates, over whom the He v. S. Waymouth presided. Officers for tho ensuing year were elected as follows: —President, Mr. W. 0. Knight; vice-president, the Rev. S. Waymouth; secretary and treasurer, Mr. S. T. Keen. It was decided to write to the Minister of Education asking if ho would suggest to the Governor-General to composo an address to be circulated throughout tho schools in tho Auckland province on the subject of tho signing of tho Treaty of Waitangi. It was further decided to request tho curator of the Auckland Museum to have .exhibits distributed to tho Bay of Plenty schools, such as was dono in the suburban schools in Auckland. NIHOTUPU SCHOOL At a, householders' election the following committee for tho Nihotupu school was elected: —Mr. V. L. Pogler (chairman), Mrs. M. E. Eyre (.secretary) , Mrs. Y. L. Pegler, Mr. W. Carter and Mr. E. T. All cock.
