— DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP CONTESTS IN AUCKLAND Tho New Zealand squash racquet championships will be decided in Auckland this year, tho matches taking place at the squash courts at the Devonport naval base from May 30 to June 1. The game, which is not very well known in New Zealand, is played on an indoor court and is exceptionally fast. Loading New Zealand tennis players, returning from England, have aroused considerable interest in it, and annual championship tournaments have been instituted.

In the circumstances, excellent entries havo been received, particularly from Christchurch, where tho game is becoming very popular. Several officers from the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy have also entered. It is pro®ed to hold a handicap tournament in conjunction with tho championships. '' ■
