At Mnr.eh 31 last there were nearly 11S,000 receiving licences issued. It was computed that the number of radio licences to population in New Zealand was 75 per 1000. It was estimated that ono house in every three had a radio set installed, and it might not bo wide of the mark to prophesy that in a few years radio sets would be in practically every houso.
