RECOVERY CAMPAIGN BIG DECREASE IN EXPORTS WASHINGTON, May 17 In opening the Government's drive for the speedy enactment by the Senate of its Reciprocal Tariff Bill, Mr. P. Harrison, chairman of the Finance Committee of the Senate, said it would prove a means of recapturing the 6,000,000,000 dollar loss of foreign trade suffered by the United States. "We cannot shut out imports without at the same time shutting in potential exports/' Mr. Harrison said.
