ALLEGED MURDER
WOMAN SENT FOR TRIAL DEATH OF HUSBAND (Received May 18, 10.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 18 An inquest was held to-day at Wagga into the death of Mr. Moncrieff Anderson, who was shot on May 10 while drawing water from a horse-trough. The coroner returned a verdict that deceased was murdered, and committed the widow, Mrs. Lillian Anderson, for trial on a charge of murder. The police produced evidence that Mrs. Anderson, unknown to her late husband, had carried on a correspondence with Edward Henry Morey, who recently was sentenced to death for tho murder of Percy Smith. Letters also were written by Morey from gaol to the accused woman.
