[from our own correspondent] TE AEOHA, Friday An address was given at the annual meeting of the Springdale branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union bv Mr. D. Johnson on the activities of the branch and the union throughout the Dominion. The following officers wore elected: —President, Mr. E. Palliser; vice-president, Messrs. 1). Johnson and A. Shallard; delegates to provincial meetings, Messrs. A. Hunger ami A. Shallard; secretary, Mr. J..Jveightloy; committee, Messrs. A. Hunger, -.J. Arnet, A. Shallard and A. Fletcher. Remits for the provincial conference were discussed.
