SMITH DEFEATS WHITE The Vulcan Lane Billiards Parlour tournament was continued last evening when A. Smith (receive 150) defeated M. White (150 behind). Play tvas below tho usual standard, neither player being ablo to control tho run of the balls. White's best efforts were 46 and 33. He was well ahead of his handicap at the 400 mark. Smith by consistent play to the 500 mark ran to points. The tournament will be continued next Monday evening, when G. Basham will meet E. J. Goodhew.
