Tlmrsduy "We must thank tho Treasury Department for putting our conversion loan through on a good basis and as speedily as possible," said the Mayor of Hamilton, Mr. J. It. Fow, at a meeting of tho council last evening, when formal resolutions in connection with the borough's conversion loan of £767,053 were being passed. Mr. Fow added that tho Hamilton loan was considered by tho officials concerned in its negotiation to be the largest outside the cities and one of tho most complicated.
