KEEN NEW ZEALANDERS DESIRE TO JOIN EXPEDITION [by TELEGRAPH —OWN" correspondent] WELLINGTON. Thursday Dozens of applications from many parts of New Zealand have been received by Mr. D. B. McVicar, of Princess Street, Newtown, Wellington, for inclusion in an expedition he inay make to Cocos Island to recover the famous Lima hoard of gold, to which he claims to have the clue. Some of the applicants' offer money and others state that wages are only a secondary consideration. All want a chance to join in the great adventure.
