WHANGAREI ASSOCIATION results of the judging POINTS PRIZES AWARDED [I'llOM OUR OWN CORRESI'ONDHNT] WIIANGAKEI, Thursday Fine weather continues for the Whangarei Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Winter Show. The attendance on the first two days was satisfactory, the takings being slightly ( in excess of the first two days of fast year. The judging was completed yesterday. The chief item of interest on the first night, apart from the opening ceremony, was the preliminary competition in the tug-of-war contest, the finals of which take place on Saturday night. Last evening an interesting wrestling programme, staged by the Whangarei Amateur Gymnasium, attracted a large attendance. The events were very keenly contested and created gr<\at interest. The Agricultural and Pastoral Society's cup for competition between the Whangarei and Kuawai Clubs was won by Whangarei, the details being as follows, tho Whangarei competitors being mentioned first in each case: —T. Preston beat J. Wallace by two falls to one; N. Boyd beat K. Bradley by two falls; 1. Hollows beat L. Meiers by two falls; S. Hollons beat A. Wallace by two falls. The winners of the various points prizes have been announced as follows: —D. Ilannam Memorial Trophy (presented by club members for the exhibitor gaining most points in farm garden and dairy produce): J. W. Cairns (Hikurangi), 43 points. Simmons' Shield (re-presented by Mrs. F. Nutsford for most points in the flower section): Mrs. Halliday, 8 points. White Island Products Cup (for most points iu tho farm garden and dairy produce section): J. W. Cairns, 43 points. School Challenge Shield (presented by Mr. F.
