THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, visited Chandler's Island in the Hauraki Gulf yesterday for a day's shooting. In the afternoon, Lady- Bledisloe was present at a gathering of the New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association. This afternoon Their Excellencies will pay a visit to Bledisloe House at the New Zealand Institute for the Blind, and in the evening tbo Governor-General will attend the Officers' Club,.where the annual Baylv lecture will be delivered. To-morron* afternoon Lord Bledisloe will be present at the Rugby football matches at Eden Park.
