VISIT OF DR. MOFFATT The author of the well-known modern translation of the Bible, Professor James Molfatt, of the Union Theological Seininarv, New York, will shortly pay a brief visit to New Zealand, and will arrive in Auckland on June 11. Dr. Mofl'att begins his Sabbatical year of I pave in May and Mrs. Moffatt and he have planned a trip round the world. This will include a visit to their two sons, one of whom is in Java and the other/ in Burma. Dr. Moffatt was born in Glasgow and 63 years of age. He was at Glasgow University, and held professorships at Oxford and Glasgow before Eoinc to New York in 1927.
