Limited, report on their Morrinsville stock sale aa follows : Another heavy yarding of sheep was penned, including drafts of fat lambs from local graziers. which met with keen competition and showed an advance in prices. Store lambs and breeding ewes did not show the quality of r»:cent yarding, and the demand was not keen; however, a total clearance was eSected at satisfactory prices. Cattle: An extra heavy yarding of local cattle came forward. Corapetition on the beef was dull and values eased on late Quotations, while killable and boner cattle sold at late rates. A good entry of yearling Jersey heifers met_ with poor competition. Pigs: A heavy yarding of all classes of pigs, it being noticeable that there was a larger proportion of baconers than usual, this no doubt being due to the improved competition in the yards for ptjs of this class. Baconer3 were again in demand, while porkers remained firm at late rates. The exceptionally large entry of stores and weanera was not wanted. The total yarding was about 2300 heaa of cattle and 1500 sheep. The whole yarding of «heeD was sold and about *2OOO head of cattle. There was a coed demand for both sheep and cattle. Messrs. Abraham and Williams report that more than the advertised number of cattle came forward, their entry totalling 1437 head. This was tha last sheen fair of the season and there was a fairly heavy yardinsr. consisting mainly of lambs, which met with n keen demand. FARM HORSES IN DEMAND Messrs. G. "W. Vercoe and Company, Limited, report having held a horse sale at Claudelands, when the .advertised entry came forward. Good useful farm horses were in demand and sold at late rates, while hacks also met with a fair sale. The top price of the sale, £46, was realised for a chestnut gelding sold on account of Mr. W. F.
