NEW MAORI CHURCH

OPENING NEXT MONTH TWO BROTHERS' GENEROSITY [from our own correspondent! Saturday The Anglican Maori community of the Mangakahia district will shortly be provided with a suitable church as the result of the generous action of the Arana brothers. For the past three years the brothers .have been carrying cream supplies for a dairy company, their contract taking them out all days of the week. During this period they set aside their Sunday takings, and have now made the amount available as a donation for the building of a church, which is almost completed, and will seat about 70. It is hoped that Bishop Bennett, of Aotearoa, will open the church next month.
