FAIR TO FINE WEATHER . ' WARM TEMPERATURES The -Government meteorologist re.- ' ported last evening as follows:— An ' intense anti-cyclone still extends from eastwards over New Zealand, whilo a • westerly depression is located over eastern Australia. A tropical cyclone, is centred between Fiji and Saraoa. The indications, are foi* moderate northeasterly to northerly winds, becomine strong in exposed positions.Seas - rather rough north of fast Cape and & about Cook Strait, otherwise moderate. In the eastern Tasmaif Sea, moderate to strong north-easterly to northerly winds, with rather rough to rough seas. The weather will still be fair to fine in most districts, but light showers are likely in the extreme north and south, with fog on.parts of the East Coast. Temperatures will be warm. YESTERDAY'S WEATHER Auckland.—Overcast weather was experienced yesterday morning, and light rain commenced falling about mid-day. Conditions improved during the afternoon, and there were occasional periods \ of sunshine. There was a light southerly breeze. The barometer, which has been above 30.40 in. for some days, fell slightly during the day, but was again rising last evening. Barometer, midnight, eteudy .. 30.49 in.
