Thursday ' The annual meeting of the Hauraln Plafns Golf Club was held in the Waiiakaruru Hall last, evening, Mr. W. H. Porter presiding over an attendance, of, 22 members. Reporting on last season's results, the president paid a tribute to the generosity of Mr. J. Motion, who had allowed the use of his property free of charge; also to the club captain, Mr. E. A. Mahoney. who had laid out tho course and done a lot to put the club's affairs on a permanent footing. The following officers were elected:—r Patron, Mr. J. Motion; president, Mr. W. H., Porter: vice-president, _ Mr. F. E. Hammond; secretary, Miv J. Huddlestone; club captain, Mr. «A. G. Crockfoid; niatcji committee, president, captain and Messrs. A. Smith, D. Williams and F.
