The balance-sheet disclosed a satisfactory credit balance. The election of officers resulted President, Mr. J. Watson ; vice-presidents, Messrs. D. Hart and C. Hay-Chapman; secretary, Mr. G. F. R. Keith; lady secretary, Mrs. D. Hart; treasurer, and club captain, Mr. E. V. Daldy; green superintendent, Mr. G. Smith; general committee, Messrs. G. A. Shaw, F, Orpwood, J. J. Collins, J. C. Black, D. G. Mason; ladies' committee, Mrs. E. ■ V. Daldy. Mrs. C. Hay-Chapman, . Miss J. Littleproudi Miss B. Watson; auditor, Mr. K S. Caldwell. Thursday ' The annual meeting of the Hauraln Plafns Golf Club was held in the Waiiakaruru Hall last, evening, Mr. W. H. Porter presiding over an attendance, of, 22 members. Reporting on last season's results, the president paid a tribute to the generosity of Mr. J. Motion, who had allowed the use of his property free of charge; also to the club captain, Mr. E. A. Mahoney. who had laid out tho course and done a lot to put the club's affairs on a permanent footing. The following officers were elected:—r Patron, Mr. J. Motion; president, Mr. W. H., Porter: vice-president, _ Mr. F. E. Hammond; secretary, Miv J. Huddlestone; club captain, Mr. «A. G. Crockfoid; niatcji committee, president, captain and Messrs. A. Smith, D. Williams and F. Stretton; general committee, club officials and Mesdnmes Hayward and Stretton. Miss Thompson, Messrs. A. Otter and S. E. Levers; social committee. Mesdames Hayward and Mahoney, Miss Thompson, and 'Messrs. M. Hill, B. Williams, L. Manners and A. Otter. The late ' secretary, Mr. G. L. Griffiths, was elected a lifo member. It was resolved to obtain plans and specifications for a clubhouse, the erection of which to be left in the hands of the general committee. THE RODNEY CLUB [from our own correspondent! , WARKWORTH, 'Thursday The annual meeting of the Rodney Club was held last evening, about 20 members attending.
