Tuesday The prospect of seeing Walla Walla, Red Shadow and Harold Logan in action at Addington to-day attracted a large crowd, and the work of the champions was watched with the greatest interest. Mr. A. J. Hastings, the club's starter, had charge of tho barrier at the mile post and he sent Auburn Lad, Harold Logan, Red Shadow and Arethusa away on a mile journey which Red Shadow accomplished in 2.11 2-5, nice easy . work for a good pacer. Auburn Lad impressed by his style of going and although not asked a serious question he unwound a great, burst , of speed in the back stretch." Nelson's Victory was first, into the straight, but over the lijst furlong Walla Walla displayed a brilliant burst of speed nnd passed the other two easily.
