REGATTA AT DEVONPORT SERIES OF HARBOUR RACES The Devonport Yacht Club will hold its animal regatta to-morrow, when harbour races will be contested by keel yachts and smaller classes. Following are the handicaps and courses: — Naval "Whalers.—To etart at 2.80 p.m.. Course: Same as that for Wakatere class. Keel Yachts (Duder Cup).—To start 2.30 p.m.: lorangi, Thelma, Ngatoa, Kotiri, Ida, Rawene, Victory, Prize, Waitangi, "Waione, Mahaki L Ladye Wilma, Janet, Kotuku, Windward, Argo. Course: From starting line between Victoria "Wharf and mark boat moored south, thence to Bastion, port hand, thence to Eider's Spit buoy, starboard, thence to Easternmost channel lighted buoy (red), starboard), thence to Bastion, starboard, thence to mark boat off Stanley Bay, starboard, finishing across starting line. Handicaps will be declared to-morrow. Classes H, L and N.—To start at 2.40 p.m.: Omatere, scr; Celox, 3m: Bakoa, 12m; "Waiapu, 16m; Isobel. 22m. Course: Same as that for keel yachts. Class M.—To start at 2.50 p.m.: Mawhiti, Matarere, Maroro, Manene, Manu, all scr. Course: From starting line between Victoria Wharf and mark boat moored south to Bastion, por.t, thence to "White Light, port, thence to Resolution, starboard, thence to mark boat off Stanley Bay, starboard, finishing across starting line. Class V.—To start at 3 p.m.: Paroro, Manutere, Memutu, Cygnet, scr; Martha S., lm; Marianne, ljm; Avian, Mystic, 2m; Avro, sm; Drone, Gm; Mischief, Daphne, 7m; Sun, 12m. Course: Same as that for M class. Class B.—To start at 8.10 p.m.: Sirona, Marlene, scr; Mistral, 3im; Clio, 4m; Aotea, 7m; Waitoa, 9m; Lancia, 10m; Tiki, 12m. Coiirse: Same as that for classes M and V. Class Y.—To start at 8.20 p.m.: Rebel, Karoro. scr; Revenge, Raider, }m; Demon, 11m; Vailua, Jupiter, 4m; Kea, Gm; Opah, 7m; Continuance, 14m. Course: From starting line between Victoria Wharf and mark boat moored south, to Sandspit beacon, starboard, thence to Resolution, starboard, thence to mark boat off Stanley Bay, starboard, twice round, finishing across starting line. Classes T and X.—To start at 3.80 p.m.: Aileen. scr; Shalimar, Maile, 2m; Valet, 3mj Kismet, Zephyr, 4m; Meteor, 7m; Eleanor, 8m; Rangi, 9m; Iron Duke, 10m; Rona M., 11m; Swiftshore, 12m; Arawa, 16m. Course: Same as that for Y class. Wakatere Class (Speedwell Cup), third heat—To start at 3.40 p.m.: Wishwynne. Wnirangi, Wakanui, Winooka, Waiata, Whitewings, Windjammer, Wee Alicb. Course: Same as that for T and Y classes, once round. Tauranga Midget Class.—To start at 3.50 p.m. Sailing Dinghies.—To start at 8,65 p.m.: Norana, Deben, Vida, Silens, and two others. HERNE BAY SAILING CLUB Rnces for senior and junior crews will be held by the Tlerne Bay Sailing Club tomorrow. Races will start and finish off the Ponsonby Wharf. Following are the entries and handicaps:— Senior Event. —To start at 2 p.m.: Aotea, Cornet. Nipen, Memo. MANTJKAU YACHT CLtIB The Manukau Yacht and Motor-Boat Club will hold harbour races for both yachts and launches over No. 1 course to-morrow.
