OLDEST GOLFER

PLAYING IN 87TH YEAR The claim to be England's oldest golfer might well be made on behalf of Mr. George Hindle, of Newbegin, Northumberland, for he is still able to waggle a capable club in his 87th year, says an English paper. He is a vicepresident of the local club, is not content to be merely ornamental, and he still takes the game seriously. Ho is, too, the oldest practising schoolmaster in England, and still puts in a full day's work at his private school in the village. Recently, w/ien he received a number of presents from former pupils, it was discovered that several of them were grandparents.
