TAMAKI CLUB'S EVENTS •RACES' FOR SMALL CLASSES ' The Tamaki Yacht Club will hold its third series of races' for the small classes off Kohimarama wharf this afternoon. Owing to four of tho club boats competing in tho challenge teams race between the M and V class, the V class has been combined With the S class. For the convenience of the owners of the Z class, who would be i unable to reach the starting point in time, a launch will pick up boats' of this class off the King's Wharf .at 2.30 p.m.. and tow them to Kohimarama. The races will start and finish oft Narrow Neck, Devonport, at times to be decided. 1 . DESERT GOLD GONE SOUTH Tho well-known 14-footer Desert Gold, owned by Mv- W. A. Wilkinson, was ehipped to Bluff by the steamer. Waipiata on .January 29. Desert Gold Was built by Messrs, C. Bailey and Sons for Messrs. !
