MINISTER TO CHINA
FAREWELL LONDON DINNER (Received January 12, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Jan. 11 The Foreign Secretary, Sir John Simon, gave a dinner party at the Reform Club to bid farewell to the Hon. Alexander Cadogan, who is to leave London shortly to take up his duties 'as British Minister to China. The guests included the Chinese Minister, Mr. Quo Tai-chi, Viscount Cecil, and Sir Austen Chamberlain. Messages conveying good wishes were received from the Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, Mr. Arthur Henderson and Lord Cushenden.
