LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

TOKANUI BRANCH The final meeting of the Tnkanui branch for 1933 was held recently, and took tho form of a garden party at the residence of Mrs. A. S. Wyllie. Mrs. Anderson gave the thought for tho month, and after business had been dealt, with all adjourned to the garden, where there was much enjoyment provided for the children, for whom the had been specially arranged. Clock golf, "hobs," a peanut bunt, a cotton trail, races and competitions were among the amusements, and tho afternoon concluded with gifts for each child from tho Christmas tree, baskets of Bwoets and tea. At the conclusion of this happy function, Mrs. F. H. Barnett, president, expressed appreciai behalf ,°f the members to Mr. and Mrs. W.vllie for tho trouble thov had gone to, to ensure tho enjovment of ail present. On behalf of the children, Auir .^* v Princo presented Mrs. Wjllio with a token of appreciation.
