PEACE NEGOTIATIONS AMICABLE SETTLEMENT (Receiver! November 1 "2, 7.5 p.m.) SHANGHAI, Nov. 11 Jt is announced that an amicable settlement has been reached in regard to the outstanding difficulties arising from the Tangku Peace Pact, which ended the hostilities in the vicinity of the Great Wall.

General Okamura states that the way has been paved for a permanent and complete understanding between the Chinese and Japanese militarists. This will shortly bo followed by a return of the Great Wall and passes to China and a complete withdrawal of the Japanese forces beyond the wall outside the neutral zone.
