MUSICAL DIRECTOR
NEW SOUTH WALES POST MR. ALFRED HILL FAVOURED SYDNEY, Oct. 7 The Sydney Morning Herald states that Mr. Alfred Hill, who is well known in New Zealand as a composer of operas and Maori music, probably will bo the new director of the New South Wales Conscrvatorium of Music. Applications have been received from all over the world, but it is understood that members o,f the Cabinet will favour Mr. Hill, Ihe is an Australian, having been in Melbourne, k f. ,'H aur> 'it iS.
