CONSERVATIVES' POLICY SOME FEARS EXPRESSED British Wireless RUGBY. Oct. 6 The Government's proposals for Indian constitutional reform were discussed at the Conservative conference in Birmingham this afternoon. A motion was proposed which recorded confidence in the Government, but represented to the Parliamentary Joint Select Committee on Indian Reform that apprehension was felt about the proposals concerning the finance and defence policy, the welfare of Indian peoples, and trade discrimination.
