All . well." THE lONIC The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic is to leave Wellington to-morrow for New Plymouth and Auckland to complete loading for London. The vessel is scheduled to leave Auckland for London, via Panama and Southampton, on October IS. MONOWAI AT SYDNEY The Monowai arrived at Sydney from Auckland on Saturday morning. The vessel has been relieving the Niagara in the couver service, and will transfer to the intercolonial service this week. She is to sail next Saturday for Auckland, where she is due the following Tuesday. ' AORANGI AT- VANCOUVER Tho Royal Mail liner Aorangi arrived at Vancouver from Auckland last Thursday evening. The vessel will sail next Wednesday morning on her return voyage to Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on October 29. THE PORT HUNTER The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hunter left Napier for Auckland on Saturday evening to complete loading. Sha is due about six o'clock this morning and will berth at Queen's Wharf. She is scheduled to sail for London, via Panama, at mid-day on Wednesday. 9 THE KARET.U ; The Katetu is expected from Suva tomorrow morning. The vessel is scheduled e to sail on Wednesday for Newcastle, Sydney, Suva and Nukualofa, taking cargo for e Nukualofa, where she is due on October 30. From Nukualofa ehe will return to e land, via Suva, leaving Suva on November 2. 3 THE SYDNEY MARU The Sydney Maru arrived from Japan, via Australia and Wellington, yesterday b morning, and is discharging and loading x at King's Wharf. She is scheduled to sail for Sydney, Brisbane and Japan at two s o'clock this afternoon. j THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR r The Canadian Conqueror is due from Montreal about the middle of this week. The vessel will discharge and load at Wellington and Auckland, and she will then proceed to Australia to complete her caigo. From Australia she will return to Montreal,- via New York and Boston. She is bringing cargo which was to have been forwarded on the Canadian Challenger. t THE MONTEREY The Matson liner Monterey was scheduled to arrive at Los Angeles on Saturday, and she is due at San Francisco ' to-day. The vessel will leave San Francisco on October 17 and Los Angeles on October 18 for Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne, via Island ports. She is due at Auckland on November 3. THE CITY OF SINGAPORE Under charter to the A. and A. Line the City of Singapore arrived from American and Gulf oLMexico ports on Saturday evening. The vrasel loaded general cargo at New York, Philadelphia and Norfolk, sulphur and general cargo at New Orleans, and sulphur at Galvfeston. She left Galveston on September 5 and cleared Panama on September 12. Stormy weather was experienced on the passage from Norfolk to New Orleans. When she was at Galveston .the centre of a severe hurricane passed about 100 miles from that port. After leaving Galveston boisterous conditions were experienced on the passage to Panama. Generally f?.ir weather prevailed in the Pacific. A short et.ay made at Pitcairn Island on September 25.
