PACIFIC COAST TOURNEY WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIPS (Received October 8, 6.45 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO. Oct. 7 Miss Alice Marble, of San Francisco, to-day won the Pacific Coast women's singles championship. She defeated Miss Dorothy Round (Britain), 6 —4, 6 —l. Misses Round and Heelv won the doubles, defeating Misses Marble and Ryan, I—6, 6—2, 6—4. TOUR ARRANGED AUSTRALIAN WOMEN VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND SYDNEY, Oct. 7 The Lawn Tennis Association has granted permission for a New South Wales team of women, Misses N. Lloyd (captain), L. Bickerton, N. Valkenberg, N. Hall and D. Dingle, to tour New Zealand. They will leave Sydney on December 14 and return on January 21.
