TENNIS DANCE
TAKAPUNA CLUB Many dancers were present at the Pirate Ship on Saturday evening when a dance was held by the members of the Takapuna Tennis Club, the dance music was provided by the Pirate Ship Orchestra under Mr. Bartley. A ladies committee, assisted by the men of the clubs was responsible for the airangements. Among those present were Mrs. Eugene Sullivan, who wore a frock of shell pink cobweb lace banded m georgette of the same shade; Mrs. Hector Preston, ivory satin with ruched organdie- Mrs. T. Polio, canna red flat crepe; Mrs. C. J. Randall, parchment embossed georgette; Mrs. H. L. Bowden, floral taffeta; Mrs. C. Morns, black georgette and net; Seagar, delft blue chiffon; Mrs. Llewellvn Williams, black taffeta; Mrs. Everiss, dolft blue taffeta ; Mrs. 11. P. Ibbertson, almond green crepe; Mrs. Meyhill, black georgette; Mrs. J- A. Bartrum, powder blue taffeta, -Mr?* Harrison Lea, black lace; Mrs. H. B. Roe, black embossed georgette; Mrs. P. Andrew, deep parma violet lace; Mrs. Jack Gamble, white satin; Mrs. D M. Davidson, sapphire blue georgette; Miss Margery Meek, gold lace; Miss Gwenyth Smith, fiord georgette; Miss Helen Laing, white floral taffeta; Miss Rhonnda Sussex, shell pink satin and lace: Miss Dolly Mahon, pmk taffeta; Miss Winsome Clarke, apple green satin and : white organdie; Miss Joan James, primrose net and georgette; Miss Berta O'Neill, black lace; Miss Madgo Edwards, salmon pink taffeta; Miss Cameron, Nile groen taffeta; Miss Louise Williamson, ciel blue frilled organdie; Miss Elwyn Wade, black lace.
