THE SHOPPING LIST MYSTERY A shopping husband is always a pitiable object. This particular one had forgotten essential items so often tiiat on this occasion ho was packed oft to the store with a list hurriedly written out by his wife. He was able to decipher the items one by one until he camo to B.L.P. He couldn't solve the mystery and was not game to return homo for an elucidation to the problem. In desperation he showed the storekeeper the cryptic characters. He at once exclaimed, "Oh, that will be Baxter's Lung Preserver.'' " Of course it is," said the relieved husband. " I now remember my wife saying -whatever else you do don't forget the ' Baxter's.'
