DISSATISFIED YOUTH
Sir,—ln all the letter* that have been written none seem to toucn any vital reasons. I would say that real ambition in most cases is lacking, and sports of one kind or another over indulged in, are responsible for most of the discontent among the youth of to-day. How many will one find who are attempting to save and place in a savings bank a definite percentage of earnings? Most will say it is impossible, but where, would our little New Zealand be if her pioneers had been satisfied to use siich a term, and accept it? Where there's a will, there's a way.. Of ail the men I have had working for me those who are saving are honest. workers that find pleasure in learning, and do not grunlble about, their lot, always quite happy and contented, and a pleasure to work alongside of, and I'll warrant will make successful farmers when they strike out for themselves, while their thriftless mates live from hand to mouth, or worse. Paddle yon; owx G'anok.
