Following is a list of Saturday's trans- i aft ions on Now Zealand Stock Exchanges. In the second column is given the return, based on the last annual dividend, from investment at the quoted price. In calculating tho return on' shares in companies which pay their I dividends outside New Zealand the exchange rates have not been taken into consideration. Tho return on 4 per cent, ! (Jovcrnnient loans includes redemption. I In (he case of Hi per cent loans, the return is for interest alone, and covers only tho period for which the loans arc tax-free. No return is given on local body securities and debentures in the meantime.
