Tho Dail}' Telegraph says the impression in the City is that tho over-sub-scription of tho loan indicates that "stags" were numerous. It was expected to open at from £ to £ per cent premium, but to go higher when tho "stags" had taken their profit. The favourable Australian Budget assisted to swell the applications.
