SEQUEL TO COLLISION

MOTORIST PROSECUTED [from our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Fridny In tho Magistrate's Court at Morlinsvillc yesterday, bofoi* Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., Alexander John Johnson, of Waitoa, pleaded gnilty to a charge of failing to give way to a vehicle approaching from tho right. Ho was fined !)0s and costs. Defendant was prosecuted as a sequel to a collision between a car and a lorry at the corner of Studhohno Stroet and Coronntion Road on September 11. Defendant also pleaded guilty to a charge of driving without a licence, for which lie was fined 10s and costs. A further charge of driving in a manner dangerous to tho public, to which defendant pleaded not guilty, was dismissed.
