CHARGE OF ASSAULT
INTENT TO ROB ALLEGED YOUNG MAN REMANDED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] PALMERSTON NORTH, Wednesday A sequel to an alleged assault at the Himatangi store early on the morning of July 1 was heard before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Police Court to-day, ■when Lindsay Edist Edward Jarner, a panelbeater, aged 21, a native of Tasmania, was charged that, with another person unknown, he assaulted Christian Martin Sorensen with intent to rob him. Accused was remanded until Friday.
