Dunn was unable to give the number. " Would it bo hundreds or thousands?" asked Mr. Young. " Not thousands; probably hundreds," was the reply. Later Mr. Justice MacGregor remarked that stealing bicycles in Christchurch was probably quite a profitable industry.
