BONDS HELD IN LONDON METHOD OF PAYMENT NEW ZEALAND CURRENCY POWER BOARD'S DECISION [BY TELEGRAPH—I'BESS ASSOCIATION] INVERCARGILL, Wednesday Members of the Southland ElectricPower Board had an all-day sitting today discussing tho question of interest payments to the board's London bondholders in all its aspects. They were assisted in their deliberations by a number of representative citizens from tho country and town. This evening the chairman of the board, Mr. W. Hinchey, stated that the question of paying all future interest, commencing with the September payment, in Now Zealand currency was determined upon. A deputation from the board is to moot tho Minister of Finance, lit. Hon. J. G. Coatcs, in Wellington on Friday.
