CLEANSING MILKING PLANTS [from our own correspondent] # HAMILTON, "Wednesday . The use of various germicides on tho market for cleansing milking plants and cans was condemned by Mr. W. Dempster, Government dairy instructor, at Hamilton, when speaking at a dairy meeting in Hamilton to-day, Mr. Dempster said the best cleansers were steam and boiling water. The best grease remover was one teaspoonful of caustic soda to four gallons of boiling water. Care should be taken to see that not more than the quantity of caustic soda mentioned should bo used.
