CASH, AND GOODS TAKEN WHANGAREI TOBACCONIST [by telegraph—own correspondent! WHANGAREI, Tuesday The shop of Mr. H. J. Preebes ( tobacconist and hairdresser, in Cam* cron Street, was broken into last night and cash and goods of a total value of £2O were taken. " Entry was gained through a skylight. The goods taken include cigarette lighters and electric torches, but few cigarettes are missing. BUTCHER'S TILL ROBBED LOSS OF £lO AT TE AROHA [frosi our own correspondent] TE AROHA, Tuesday A thief broke into the butchery shop of Mr. A. Dawson, Whitaker Street, and stole from the till the sum of £lO in notes and silver. Entry was gained , by a back window,, the intruder having climbed a down-pipe to reach it.
