ANNUAL CHILDREN'S BALL

St. Benedict's Hall was filled to fcapacity, the occasion being the tanual children's ball of St. Beneflict's School. The costumes were Very pleasing, some being beautiful and bthers of most quaint and humorous design. The grand march was a striking bpectadle, and the precision and mantaer of execution by the little ones was a striking tribute to tho training of the- Sisters of St. Joseph. The judging of the costumes was cartied out by Miss Daphne Knight, and prizes were awarded to the following children:—Seniors, Rita Coupe, Lorrele •Purdom, Nancy Cruicksbank, Phyllis Peed, Mollie Heighton, Mollie Curt.in, Doreen Clanfield and Lorraine Bourke; juniors, Joan Ryan, Bruce Tilbury, Jessie .Tones, Brian Copas, Pat Lind, Margaret Knight and Wade Clark. Bishop Liston was present and a very representative attendance of fepectators. Monsignor Ormond, in making the presentation of prizes, congratulated the recipients and thanked Miss Knight for officiating as judge and the Sisters for the excellent training of the children.
