SUCCESSES AT WAIHI ALL CANDIDATES PASS [BY TEIjKGRAFH —OWS CORRESPONDENT] WAIHI, Tuesday Following are the results of the Waihi centre examinations conducted by Mr. Anderson Tyrer under the auspices of the Trinity College of Music, London, on August 18, all tho candidates being successful: — Higher Local. —Maurice Addy. Senior. —Phyllis Hill, Noni Dunstan, Margaret Spence, Bhoda Venablcs. Intermediate. —Amy Kennedy, Hazel Thompson, Jessie Thomson, Marjory Junior. —Juno Harley (honours), Kitty Curran (honours), Gay Sparke. For tho first time in this centre Trinity College has presented a silver medal to tho candidate who received the highest marks. This was won by Juno Harley, who obtained 86 marks, after barely two years' pianoforte tuition.
