GOOD VIEW AT DARWIN ' DARWIN. Aug. 2:3 An eclipse of the sun began at 3.55 p.m. yesterdays local time, and the greatest phase was at 5.2 p.m., when more than nine-tenths of the surface. wa3 covered. The eclipse ended at b.J The sky was clear and afforded ail excellent view. A full view was obtained at Kathenne, 200 miles distant which is in the track of the annulai phase.
