CANARIES ON SHOW
NORWICH PLAIN HEAD TYPE FIRST ANNUAL FIXTURE A fair entry was received for the first) annual show of the Norwich Plainhcad Canary Club, which was held in the Unity Hall 011 Saturday. About 70 birds were exhibited, a- number having been sent from Huntly andf Hamilton. The judge, Mr. E. G. Hart, said tho standard in some classes was particularly good, while m others it was only fair. The best bird in the show, a clear buff exhibited by Mr. W. Henderson, of Glen Alton, was as good a type as • the judge had seen for some time. There were no rarefies in the show, all bird* being of the Norwich plainhead type.
