DEATH AT SEA

STEAMER'S CHIEF ENGINEER

Ihe death occurred at sea yesterday of Mr. Blakelock, chief engineer of the I ederal Line steamer Surrey, which is due at Auckland from Liverpool tomorrow.

Mr. Blakelock had been in ill-health for some time. He ~\vill be buried at sea. r lho news of his death was reported by wireless to the local agents, the New Zealand Shipping Company.
