AUSTRALIAN BLACKS DEPUTATION TO MINISTER SYDNEY, May 30 A deputation from the Association for the Protection of tho Native Races which waited upon tho Minister of the Interior, Mr. J. A. Perkins, to-day alleged that conditions of slavery existed among the Australian natives in tho Northern Territory and elsewhere. Ono speaker said: "We are signatories to an agreement against slavery, yet we have forced labour at present in Australia. Upon payment of a fee of £2 white men go out and bring in blacks at tho point of tho pistol." Another speaker said: " Fully 95 per cent of tho murders by aborigines of men of other races are caused by interference with the women of the blacks." Tho Minister said ho proposed to visit tho Northern Territory next month.
