CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY PARIS, May 29 Tho French lawn tennis championships were continued to-day. 3n the second round of the singles JNunoi (Japan), defeated Quist (Australia), 2—6, 2—6, 6—l, 6—l, 6 —l; Bernard (France) defeated Farquaharson (South Africa), 7—o, I—6, 8-6, 6—.'i, 6—4. In the second round of the women s singles Miss Scriven (Britain) defeated Fraulein Kraliwinkel (Germany), 2 b, 66 —3 ; Madame Wolfrom (France) defeated Mrs. Crawford (Australia), 6—.'3, 7—5.
