THEFT FROM HANDBAG
The theft of £2 10s was admitted by Thomas William Beech, aged 45 (Mr. Hough), in the Police Court yesterday. Detective-Sergeant McHugh said accused called at a house in Heme Bay to deliver an order and stole £2 10s from a handbag, which had been left in the kitchen, the door of which was open. The magistrate, Mr. W. E.. McKean. imposed a fine of £5, in default one imprisonment.
